Brief introduction of lecturer:
Naoko Yoshie (Ph.D Polymer Chemistry1993, Tokyo Institute of Technology, Japan) is Professor of Institute of Industrial Science, The University of Tokyo. Her current research focuses on:
(1) Various functions including recyclability, remendability, and stimuli- and environment-responsivity of polymers with dynamic bonds;
(2) Fabrication of nano-scale periodic pattern in polymer multi-component systems;
(3) Polymers with novel topological structure;
(4) Structure-property relationship of biobased/biodegradable polymers.
She is the vice director of International Research Center for Sustainable Materials, Institute of Industrial Science, The University of Tokyo; member of Industrial Property Council, Japan Patent Office, board member of the Society of Polymer Science, Japan and board member of Kanto Branch, The Chemical Society of Japan.
